Okay but not great. Oddly lacking on the Lake Garda front - 80% of the entire affair taking place on a fictional island in the lake. The murder itself is interesting enough if a little lacklustre - I found the reasoning behind it slightly ridiculous and not nearly high stakes enough to warrant a killing. Overall it’s fine for a cosy Sunday or a lazy beach read but tbh it’s one I’d leave in the hotel after me.
