Mr. Wrong Number by Lynn Painter

I really liked this book, so much so it was almost 5 stars but I had 2 major problems with it. Olivia is very quick to judge Colin, never gives him a real chance to explain, and when he tried to fix it multiple times she wouldn't forgive him. The 3rd act break up was in like the last 50 pages and while I understand she does forgive in the end and the reason she doesn't listen to him in the beginning is because he needs to agree that her free spirit isn't the crazy that he thought it was growing up but it's just her showing passion. But because they had the 3rd act breakup so late that the ending was almost rushed and yet too stretched out. She was mad at him for too long considering his apologies but then we didn't get a real ending after the fight was fixed BECAUSE THERE WERE LIKE 20 PAGES LEFT. It was super fast. There is also like 1 star of spice in here FYI! Not a bad thing but just a warning if you're looking for that kind of book. Also Colin had the chance to be such an emotionally deep character and prove to Olivia he isn't anything like his family but that wasn't the case at all. She didn't get to see his family or how he is so different from them and he never talked with her about why he hated them!! I think this book could have just been more and I was disappointed because their buildup was SO GOOD!! They were so cute! Also could have had time with Colin and her nephews, gotten Jack to have more of a presence, and give Will, Dana, and her parents some more personality if the whole book is based on Olivia's life and that's why there isn't a lot of depth in Colin's family. Again the book is good but it was surface level when it could have been SO MUCH MORE
