Final Thoughts:
I’m not really sure how I feel about this book. The set up for the actual bit that was exciting took a very long time and could probably have been summarized in a few chapters while still making the story fascinating. The first two-thirds of the book were tedious and full of pretentious characters. Pretentious, because so many of the actions would seem very normal in a College setting but were set in a High School environment. Now, aside from that, holy crap the action and unraveling of the story was swift and captivating. That last one-third of the book had my heart beat up and it was a trial not to have my eyes skimming faster to see what happened next. The pacing at the end was fantastic and the reveal was lovely.
