Honey was a decent character, though there was no 'arc' really - not in this book alone (I read it without reading the rest of the series, but I imagine it's pretty much the same experience) - since she just kind of says "I'm going to change" before changing instantly.
A hopeful message, though I feel the book as a whole ends quite abruptly. Everything I needed to hear right now, somehow, even though I'm no longer 11 years old.
