Fast read trough some short updates on the characters from the world of Sookie Stackhouse.
I've only read the last book after a long pause and was not happy with how it ended.
Because of my long pause I had trouble remembering most of the characters that got updates in this after series publication.
It is not a story but the actual short updates that range from a single sentence to page and a half depending on how important the character is.
I might have had more satisfaction from this book if I were still on the hype train for this series.
In some aspects this series did not age well - I'm a big fan of urban fantasy and alternate histories but putting real life events into it all is not something that ever turns out well. In my opinion it clashes with the fantasy part and the supernatural creatures.
