I finally started AND finished this series all thanks to the movie. I've watched the movie for the first time this month even though I was never interested in it when it came out, I'll be honest. However, my eyes were glued on the screen when I stopped switching channels and stayed put on the one where it was showing the Miss Peregrine movie.

I was fascinated by the visuals and I got attached to the peculiar kids so here I am.

This was actually a very fun and thrilling read. Hauntingly beautiful too because of the vintage photographs even though they my own head is picturing the characters or scenery very differently from the pictures. I also had to give it to the author for creating a story based on collecting those photos.

Overall, I came to love this series and I have reread my favorite parts already. Very surprising to me since I'm kind of in a reading slump but thanks to this, it's slowly fading away.

I'm here for more of the peculiar kids and their headmistress.

Side note: I know the movie did so many changes but I would've loved seeing Emma's mistrust towards Jacob then slowly through the story, they start being friends and more. Idk.. I'm here for that kind of trope /shrugs.
