The Blue Poetry Book by Andrew Lang

4.0

For so long blood have never fired up in my veins to read something like I did with this precious book, I'm fond of the English wars, the tales and the legends of the kingdom, and even twisting the myths of greece in the English way.
All of the poems, songs and ballads got a special place within my shelves and definitely I'm going to read the other collections of Andrew lang.

POV The 5-stars poems are :
• Ye mariners of England
• O, Wert thou in the cauld blast
• As slow our ship
• A sea dirge
• Solitary reaper
• Sleep
• Wandered alone
• Fidele
• Arethusa
• The fire of drift-wood
• The beleaguered city
• Hester
• To daffodils
