Alone on a Wide Wide Sea by Michael Morpurgo

5.0

My teacher in year 6 (5th grade for Americans) read some of this book to our class every day. I suppose I like this book for mainly sentimental reasons, but honestly, even if it didn't remind me of my favourite teacher, I'd still love it. All of Morpurgo's books are wonderfully researched, and I really feel like envy one has a lot to take away from this book, whether it's something intellectual or moral.
