The fact that this almost took me an entire month to finish (& this isn’t a 500+ novel) I don’t see that as a good thing. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Trevor or Tara. I didn’t see any chemistry between them. I also wasn’t sure how Tara was a book influencer when we don’t really see her make content minus the occasional video. Her personality grated on me as well as her naïveté when it came to relationships. She reminds me of a former colleague I had that was completely oblivious when it came to not praising the bare minimum with relationships and she was almost Tara’s age. For someone who reads primarily romance novels, you would think she’d have a better understanding ? Idk I’m hopeful that the 3rd book doesn’t disappoint me.
