Ooooh this book made me FEEL. The first ~150 pages were extremely difficult to get through. I was depressed. I was crying. I was furious. So many emotions, especially since I expected this to be a silly fun romp!
I knew nothing going into this and I was so surprised by the main premise of this book, and I loved it. It was so compelling. The twist got me. And then it got me again! And it actually freaked me out in the middle there - I had a couple sleepless nights.
I also enjoyed the bit after the book, some non-fiction about haunted houses and puppets, along with some fun graphic design that was related to some characters from the story. Super cool stuff.
