Autoboyography by Christina Lauren

This is my favorite Christina Lauren book yet, and I've read quite a few of theirs. Yes, they are a writing duo, and I would be fascinated to see their process. But, I digress. Tanner and Sebastian - love!

I loved the idea of the writing class and high school students writing novels. Oh my, one can only imagine the results of that seminar. Self-effacing for all the writers in the audience.

But a bisexual teen whose back in the closet after a family relocation to Utah falls for a nice young Morman man. Wha! How is that going to have a happy ending? And the object of his desire is not just Morman by family, but he's drinking the Kool-Aid. Sebastian's faith is a tricky subject matter, and I think the authors did a very thoughtful job of it.

I'm not usually a big believer in mutual insta-love, as I'm more in the camp that one party is often ahead of the other. But, there were too many other barriers, and the insta-love didn't suck. So, horray!

I was so sucked in, I read it in two days (during the work week). Goodbye, sleep.

I have Love and Other Words on tap for reading in the next two weeks when I'm on vacation, so I'm expecting big things now.
