reads like a magical tale about a peculiar island where so many things don't make sense and some mysterious disappearances occur. since so many things don't make sense, i didn't know what was happening at times. but i didn't hate that, since the writing style was really nice and i can tell the author wanted to make the reader question things. not much plot to it at all, but the atmosphere is amazing and the writing is good.
