“He thinks he'll be remembered as the villain in the story. But I forgot to tell him that the villain is usually the person who locks up the maiden and throws away the key. He was the one who let me out” - Sarah J Maas 🔥

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars

Okay, okay! I get the hype now. This book was beautiful. It was everything I wanted ACOTAR to be. Feyre became a lot more likeable and real. I loved that it focused so much on healing and her own choices. 👏🏻

Obviously I was very happy to have more Rhys, he’s the star of the show. But (thank goodness) he bought a whole cast of actual likeable characters with him. Cassian may be my fav, but Mor, Azriel and Amren all bought some solid friendship vibes to the table. 💕

Don’t even get me started on the introduction of Velaris…it is stunning, I want to live there. I found myself really visualising each scene, power and burning look in the this book. And yes Chapter 55 delivered. 👀

But most of all, the plot of the second half had me SPEED READING. It was as action packed as the ending of ACOTAR but with all the emotions. That ending…I nearly died. I can’t wait for ACOWAR. 💀
