When I was in my 20s I saw this anime based on this manga. I remember that at that time in my life I was going through some hard things. So watching Nana, really made an impact on me. You see, Nana is an anime to watch when you are in your 20s, that is for sure. I liked Nana, not gonna lie. but I never liked Nana "Hachi", you see, she is a character that makes horrible decisions in her life, and that's why she is where she is. Nana "Hachi" is very needy, and she doesn’t care who she's with, as long as the men give her "Love" or attention. I mean she was like that since she was a teenager, come on, she went out with a married man, and she didn't care. I dislike how much people defend her, and they put her on a pedestal. And I'm like, "Hello, has everyone forgotten what she has done?". I read the first volume of NANA, again, now that I am in my 30s. And oh boy, did dislike Nana "Hachi" even more. She was always this immature person, and she never grew up, and she when the easy road for her life. She is where she is now because of her own fucking stupid choices. With Nana O, oh my, well, I just feel sorry for her, I have no words. Only when I found out, I cried. And I like Takumi, I have a love and dislike for him. And to be clear, Takumi does not love Nana "Hachi". He only wanted to have her in possession. He was in love with Reira, but, he was too scared to be with her to admit to himself that he was in love with her.
I was thinking of watching the name again, but I know that I am gonna see things I didn’t see before, and most likely I might end really disliking the anime. As for the manga, I have only read the 1st volume, and that is it. I will not read another volume, I know I'm gonna get way too angry. So let's leave it like that.
