do you know that story that each of us is assigned an fbi agent who monitors everything we do and try? a story that no one believes because, come on, it's a useless waste of resources. well, olivia is really experiencing it: there really is an agent who monitors her every slightest movement, who watches her and checks her computer, her phone, her latest searches. this is because olivia's ex-boyfriend (who left her at the altar) decided to make some risky - illegal - deal and have the contracts put in olivia's name. poor olivia!

the fact that olivia is followed in her every step ruins her plans to make bradley reed (the ex) pay because andre valenti (the agent) does everything to prevent her from carrying out illegal acts (i.e. any idea of revenge that comes into her lies) to keep her out of prison and make bradley pay.

each of their meetings happens "by chance" and with a clash, until she suggests that andre pretend to be her boyfriend (as well as being her bodyguard) to show bradley that she has moved on.
but we know, every story that begins with fiction will slowly become reality.

olivia is a people pleaser, who tries to please everyone despite what she wants and, at first glance, she seems a bit like one of those snobbish girls. but andre will also be shocked to discover that she is actually the opposite: sweet, who cares about her, measures her words so as not to say the wrong thing and lets others overlook her.

andre's ultimate goal, in addition to incriminating bradley, is to make olivia abandon these habits.
