Cottagecore, but as a contemporary romantic comedy.

I never knew it was what I needed, but er... It was. And it was perfect.

Pepper Bay is like the most perfect place ever. I want to move there, please. Specifically to the cosy cottage. The story is barely barely Christmassy, so perfect for picking up now.

This is the type of rom-com to make your grin so big it hurts your cheeks. By the end my muscles ached from smiling so much, and honestly? I felt a bit sad. I didn't want the sheer jot of this story to end. It is so sweet and fun and perfect for reading on a rainy day. You can't help but be cheered up by it.

The old-friends to lovers trope worked beautifully for Josh and Joey, and the way the story switched back and forth between them had me addicted - I loved the fact that I could see the whole story before the characters, that I knew their feelings even if they were still figuring them out themselves.

KT Dady is a new to me author, but one I will definitely be reading more of. Honeybee Cottage was excellent!
