It took me quite a long time to get into the story, I almost dnf’d at one point, but somewhere around the middle I started really liking it. I think a part of it is that I didn’t really like Dyna in the beginning. She felt too aloof maybe? Not sure. Once the other characters started showing up it got a lot better and somehow balanced out Dyna. Speaking of character, there were so many introduced in this book, I had a hard time remembering who some of them were, mostly in the raider camp. Overall it was a good start to the series, can’t wait to read the next one!
