' “Calcifer,” she said, “were you ever a falling star?”
Calcifer opened one orange eye at her. “Of course,” he said. “I can talk about that if you know. The contract allows me to.” '

okay listen, last Wednesday (i believe) i was talking to my gf and she told me I should set myself a goal to finish a book till the end of the week. I proceeded to fail BUT I did finish a book WITHIN a week 🤷 does it count?
anyway omg what a goddamn beautiful emotional ride, i can't believe I didn't read this book earlier? I can't believe I didn't even know it existed until 2 weeks ago? i just generally can't believe my ignorance regarding this book and this series?
Howl's moving castle starts off beautifully and subtly magical, as the book goes it drops subtle hints about the outcome and the answer to the central mystery.
it's done beautifully, with engaging dialogue and breathtaking descriptions that made me feel like i was watching the movie as i read, magical experience from beginning to finish!

p.s. it's 3am wth, it's the second time this book does this to me!! i already wanna reread, is this normal? probably not, anyway READ THIS BOOK!
