I am in tears.
I am DROWNING in my TEARS.

You know I was fine in the beginning of the book - it was funny, it was cute, I laughed, I giggled, I "aww'd" whenever Henry was being an absolute soft baby, I "ooh'd" at the *smutty* scenes, and then in the middle of the book - I was like "damn okay, we going somewhere! shit is about to get REAL!
AND THEN. THE ENDING. THE LAST 100 OR SO PAGES OF THIS GODDAMN BOOK RIPPED OUT MY HEART, THREW IT ACROSS THE ROOM, STOMPED ON IT, TORE IT TO PIECES AND THEN SHOVED IT AN INCINERATOR.

why? just why?

I just have so many feelings about this book, this review is just basically more of a word vomit, and less of an actual comprehensive review.

I love all the characters in this book. No lie. It is rare, more so with the books I have recently been reading, where I end up liking or loving most of the characters, and it was definitely so with this. Everyone is so endearing. Except for Philip. And Mary. They can both choke. Henry is my absolute fave because he is just a soft little dumpling cutie pumpkin pie that just needs to be protected and loved. Alex is a babe obviously, with the looks and the brains, and can I get an amen for the poc bixesual representation?!! A guy who is a poc and bisexual! I loved Alex's train of thought whenever Henry was close to him, he had me laughing out loud - literally. And NORA! A QUEEN! I wish there was more of Nora's and Alex's friendship because I felt like Nora was just as important to Alex's self-discovery and I would have liked to see more conversation about sexuality between them.

This book had the perfect balance of romance and plot, it never bored me. I was always eager to know what happened next, and it kept me wanting more. Every scene between Henry and Alex was just so. soft. and warm. and UGH. I swear I blushed while reading their email exchanges because it was just so friggin' CUTE I felt like I was invading their privacy. Now I am usually not one to go for romance, but with the diversity and representation in this book and because I am tired of reading about heterosexuals, I decided to give this book a chance and I AM SO GLAD I DID.

10/10 STARS and 10/10 would recommend!
