I love the way the author writes. There is just something so beautiful about it. I gave this book 4 stars. I love the characters! I think it’s just hard to follow up the first book which was 6 stars for me. The plot was good, the characters are still amazing. Something about the book just felt off. There was a lot of inner monologue inside the inner monologue and some of it felt too repetitive. The love story was not doing it for me like it did in book 1. Oraya hated the MMC and rightfully so but it seemed like she just randomly was okay with him without a cause. I needed this thought process portion to be explained more. It was not book 1 but it was still a good ending to their story. I look forward to book 3 and the next set of MCs.
