This book was so good. It was an amazing sequel to the first book and a great conclusion to the story. I wish we got to spend more time in the dragon realm and exploring other characters in more depth but I think the time we had doing that was very well used and very enjoyable to read. (Also is it just me who wants a Gen/Elang spin off to see what happens with these characters???) I thought the story was beautiful.
I’m a total sucker for soul mates and Shiori and Takkan gave me everything I wanted and more. Every time they kissed I was kicking my feet and giggling. I loved the ending and how it mirrored the original mythology. (Although I do have questions about how like …. Pregnancy works ????? Does she have the kid on the moon? Is the kid earth bound? Does she have to time it right so she’s just pregnant on the moon and will give birth on earth?? Does she advance in her pregnancy on the moon ? Like I know they’re not even married yet but I do want to know.) maybe if we ever get a spinoff we can get a little glimpse into how our favorite couple is doing.
