The Seep by Chana Porter

5.0

What is vital to being human? With echoes of A Brave New World where humanity's ills are trivially resolved, people are free to do anything they may want, and any suffering is treated with the drug like bliss of The Seep, what becomes of our individuality? our pasts? our future? Whatever The Seep is, its intentions seemed kind, but it doesn't understand what humans need, and that's partly because humans don't understand what we need either. Escaping suffering can't be the sole purpose of life.
