This was better than the first two books, and I think the change in art style had A LOT to do with that. You could actually follow the fight scenes.

Plot wise, there’s a lot of interesting ideas in this book, but I just don’t think that graphic novels lend themselves to Sanderson’s world building style. I was often left feeling like there was too much going on and I wasn’t sure where to focus. Also, these characters are just boring. The only interesting one was Ais, and I would’ve preferred to hear the story told from her perspective.
