Titan: The Life of John D. Rockefeller, Sr.
by Ron Chernow
challenging
informative
slow-paced
A really well written biography of Rockefeller. Very interessting altough at times it drags, with some chapters beeing very engaging and easy to read, while others seem almost a bit of a chore to get through.
The book manages to show both the monopolistic and anticompetetive nature of Rockefellers buiseness at standard oil, aswell as his large contributions through his philanthropy, while managing to remain impartial.
Overall a great book but it sometimes felt like it was longer than it needed to be.
