Crossfire by Malorie Blackman

4.0

This book is difficult to fully review since it's the first of two halves rather than a two-part series, but there is definitely a lot of stakes presented in this book and I am interested to see how the sequel will pan out. Libby and Troy slowly grew on me, I still love Callie Rose as a character and whatever the hell is going on with Tobey will hopefully be addressed well in the sequel. I got this book the day it came out, but I'm glad I took so long to pick it up since this book didn't really answer any of the questions it presented. However, it's still got Malorie Blackman's high readability and can be read quite quickly if one wants to do so- I read it on and off over a period of only about ten hours.
