3 stars. The writing in this one was better than in Ash but I don’t know these just aren’t the most interesting reads. They feel very generic YA fantasy which is unfortunate because the plot has potential but they execution doesn’t do it any justice. This book is one of those that I don’t have much to say about this. It was fine.
