Hearts to Mend is not only a book about love, but also about anger, hurt, forgiveness and healing.

This book is so beautiful, emotional and makes you go through all possible feelings. I just loved it from the start to the end!

Dee is such a strong character. She still feels hurt, full of anger about how her former relationship ended, but deep down she still loves Rico.

In order to reconquer her, he must grovel, but his plans are overturned by a health problem. But this makes them spend more time together. The fact that Dee was on the verge of losing Rico made her start fighting for a new possible relationship.

Rico is a single father, who went through a lot while he was in the army and now he wants to solve the regrets he has from the past.

Dee and Rico have an indescribable relationship. Although Rico is not very well, he flirts and tries to win Dee over, and she takes care of him, falling straight into his arms again. Sometimes maybe it only takes a life changing event to realize that you need that person forever.

Thank you Christina Berry for the opportunity to read this amazing book in exchange for an honest review.
