Destiny by Mel Odom, Alex Archer

3.0

Well I will say it seemed this book was no stop action from about page 6 until the end. Annja Creed managed to stay constantly on the run or fighting someone nearly the full duration of the story. And the author did a good job of keeping the reader in the dark about the main mystery of the story: the significance of a single coin. However, I couldn't help but feel the story was a little trite, the reasons behind the men wanting the coin a little exaggerated too far, Annja a little too idealized. That being said I am going to give the second book a chance. I hope it doesn't destroy my suspension of disbelief as this one did, and that I am able to enjoy it a little more.
