The Struggle by Jennifer L. Armentrout

4.0

Seth keeps running away from Josie, thinking it's the right thing to do even if it felt wrong. All he really wants is to keep her safe. He could taste something cold and cruel inside him. He could feel it, and it wanted to devour Josie.

I love how much Josie believes in Seth. She refuses to give up on him no matter how much their friends try to convince her that she doesn't know the real Seth. She loves him when no one else believes in him and she will still love him when everyone realizes who and what he truly is. Her love for him will never change.

I enjoyed the romance more again than in book two. Seth finally realized he can't keep pushing her away and for once he fought for her. Seth really loves her and despite thinking she deserves better than him he would rather set his nuts on fire than be with someone else and he couldn't stand to see her with anyone else either. It was so sweet that even after what he had become, he only needed her.

All in all I enjoyed book three more than the second one. This still hurt me because Seth was being stupid af but just everything about this made me feel better. The romance was more enjoyable, I started to like Alex and even action scenes were more interesting.
