Boring as hell, Gideon is insufferable. Poor writing, bad world building, extremely bad description of the war that is occurring?? I honestly don’t understand the positive reviews, I’m glad y’all enjoyed it because i sure did not.
I don’t like to not finish a book so I didn’t want to put it down on principle, but BOY did I wish I would.
I read about it being a sci-fi lesbian space book, and there is no elements of science in here, in my opinion very light lesbian themes, and essentially no space at all. Incredibly misleading in my opinion.
I will most definitely not read the rest of the books, but who knows, maybe I’ll torture myself some more.
