so this was the sequel to Bloody Princess and i have to say, i was a bit disappointed
although the FMC Lyric had been pretty smart and badass in the last one, while she was still pretty badass in this she was a lot less smart
like you know when you're watching a horror movie and want to yell at the dummy who is walking toward the monster about to get killed to RUN THE OTHER FUCKING WAY? that was what reading this book was like honestly
like Lyric's sister Melody kept having her do things that were obviously going to just make things SO MUCH WORSE for her but she did them anyway and of course they blew up in her face
the MMCs were stll pretty clueless dicks in this that let fucked shit happen to her
and omg Lyric joins the sorority at college to try and figure more secrets out and the hazing she experiences is AWFUL and the guys just LET IT HAPPEN
like she also after getting almost assaulted by this guy then has sex with one of the MMCs against a tree rather than fucking PROCESSING IT like wtf ???????
and the hazing gets so so bad and everything just starts to go more downhill and Jude starts treating her EVEN WORSE and i wanted to figure out the mystery but also things were getting more and more crazy
by the end i felt pretty reluctant to continue but decided i'd give it a little bit more of a chance even though shit was getting pretty miserable all around
