The Inimitable Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse
4.0

Re-read it for a Wodehouse book club thing after a gap of 10(?), 15(?) years- one does not like to put exact numbers.
Being a staunch Blandings fan, I have always found it difficult to embrace Jeeves and Wooster with the purity of spirit required, but this is also the book which contains 'The Great Sermon Handicap'- the best Wodehouse short story ever written. I am not a fan of the earlier stories but the book happily comes into its own very quickly.
I mean, what am I even reviewing Wodehouse for? His works are brilliant and joyful and you know you have already read everything he has ever written. If not, why, you lucky creature, what a discovery you have awaiting you!
