I did not anticipate that Elliot Page would be such a gifted writer. The book is beautiful but hard. It is an unflinching look into the reality of being a young human in the film industry, being publicly queer, and the struggle of coming to terms with one's true gender and identity. I am so glad that Elliot Page was able to find their voice and write this book- I truly think that it will be a formative book for many baby queers in the future.
