The Genius of Indraprastha by Harshwardhan Padole
4.0

This is a fascinating fictional story that will take you back to the Vedic times. The plot sets on Gondwana which was known for its rich natural resources. Aryans, Garudas, Waanars, Asuras, and Vaishyas were the native tribes of Gondwana and living a peaceful life. But things got changed when the Khidmatgar tribe invade the Gondwana by defeating the Vaishyas tribe, in search of water and better life. After 250 years Khidmatgar became the most powerful tribe in the leadership of Bakht khan. Bakht Khan is a more efficient strategist and became the threat to many strong provenances like Hastinapur, Vidhyanchal, etc. these cities came together to save their kingdom. Prince Martand, a great scientist and innovator of Indraprastha was only the obstacle for Bakht khan's ambitions. To know who the genius of Indraprastha was? pick up the book.

It is a full action-packed historical read with a glimpse of the technological advancement of the times. there are a lot of characters and all are well developed. The two main characters protagonist prince Martand and antagonist Bakht Khan both described very strongly and leave an impact on readers. The leadership skills of Bakht Khan influence me. The writing style is simple but impactful. The introduction is a bit lengthy, but it is important to understand the plot. Many questions are unanswered at the end of the read, which will make you look forward to the next book of the series.
Overall, it is a well-written book with fascinating stories and great characters.
