Vow of Deception
by Rina Kent
3.5 - 4 star read
H: alpha in the Russian bratva
h: prima ballerina! I love this for her
h: homeless, fake wife
This book deals with love, loss, identity, and an h trying to find herself and her voice.
I removed a star for the weird back and forth and needlessly complicated storyline and rushed ending at the tail end of the series.
However, this is a compelling series with a h who really does evolve and develop and grow. The H also changes and is responsive to his h. There is no doormat here.
Couldn't put it down. I loved the back and forth as she tried to work through her mental health issues which isn't something you often see in romance and brought something extra enough to push it from 3 stars to 3.5-4.
