Circe by Madeline Miller

5.0

this book reminded me of the hold Greek mythology had on me back in highschool, lol.

"I had no right to claim him, I knew it. But in a solitary life, there are rare moments when another soul dips near yours, as stars once a year brush the earth. Such a constellation was he to me." many quotable quotes.

I liked Circe as a female protagonist, and I also liked this book better than the song of Achilles. in some way, it was fortunate that the power went out at home because my boredom made it easier for me to focus on reading.
