Bellamy Creek book #1

A cute and easy small town romance read.

Blair has left her old life behind. She wants to become independent and not rely on a rich dad or husband in life. She quickly runs into trouble and her car tyre pops infront of the town mechanic (handy that eh?), who springs into action. Griffin, the brooding, closed off mechanic comes to her rescue, not only offering to fix her car but give her a place to live short term. This goes against his #1 rule - no sleepovers. But he's soon realising that his attraction to Blair not only has him breaking all these rules, but making him crazy too. Blair, who is determined to stick out on her own and won't be staying in the area very long, is also insanely attracted to Griffin. And even though goodbyes are hard, they decide to embark on a relationship.

Blake is upbeat, bubbly and is attempting to become independent in her life, which I liked about her.
Griffin is the typical grumpy MMC who cannot admit his feelings due to past experiences.

I liked both of the characters although we could have done with more background on both of them rather than just fleeting comments every once in a while.
Some of the side characters were great.
I'm not one for a third act breakup but this was kinda pivotal for the whole plot.

Overall a nice read.
