Lighthearted, spicy as hell, and legitimately laugh-out-loud funny, I would absolutely recommend for anyone looking to escape for a couple of hours into a romantic romp involving cheese puns, banter, and even a giant lobster.
Book Two of the Mead Mishaps brought back so many characters I already loved, and getting to know Brie and Felix in more depth was a delight. While insta-love isn't my go-to trope, it absolutely worked in this scenario. The characters continue to be 100% relatable, especially in their reactions to the shenanigans that occur.
I would have enjoyed having some of the larger plot details a little more fleshed out, but for under 200 pages it certainly packed a whallop of a plot twist!
CW: graphic violence, light BDSM, sexually explicit content
