For We Are Many by Dennis E. Taylor
4.0
This is the second book in the Bobiverse series. This write up assumes you're familiar with book 1.
As in the first book, we have several locations and story lines because the Bobs are in different places and involved in different missions.
Love the banter, the pop culture references, the humor, and the action. Also love the different plots and questions: Should the Bobs interfere with local cultures, especially in terms of technology? Who or what are "the others," and how can they be stopped? Who are the Bobs' friends and enemies from Earth? How does immortality change a sentient being's choices?
Anyway, lots of fun and am looking forward to the rest of the books.
Ray Porter is the best. Love his take on the Bobs and the creatures. He's perfect with the humor, the banter, the action, and the moments of sadness.
Audio in my personal collection.
