Call Me By Your Name by André Aciman
5.0
I went into this not knowing anything about it (other than it being queer fic). I assumed it would be YA as most queer fic I’ve read so far has been that vibe. Especially because I knew this was about young people. But… wow. It did not have that feeling about it whatsoever. The writing was hypnotic, intimate, addictive. I felt the whole time as though I was intruding on someone’s most private thoughts. I fucking loved it.
I felt so many things reading this book. GOD it made me feel. Physically as well as emotionally. At times anxiety - a tightness in my chest caused by grief and longing. Desire and regret swam together through my body. Fuck. I loved it.
Read it. It’s fucking beautiful.
