Maybe I'm just not a true fan of high fantasy literature, but I thought this book was just so-so. And enjoyable short read with somewhat compelling, interesting characters, but nothing groundbreaking. I'll have to see if I continue the series. Maybe I'll give the next book a try, but I'm not sure I'll read the whole series.
