Praying for Rain by BB Easton

5.0

Sooooo good

Definitely not my usual genre, but as soon as I saw Easton had a new book coming out, I knew I’d read it and love it, and I wasn’t wrong.
Wes & Rain together are a dream come trueeee! Seriously. What they overcome individually to get to a good place is stuff that would crumble lesser people.
I’ll admit I was leery about starting a series that was going to leave me hanging, but the place where this one leaves off left me in a good place to wait for the next book.
I’m ready for book 2, but I certainly won’t cry over the wait. Instead I’m going to revel in the feel goods of their story.
I didn’t see the twist coming, but it made things even better.
The imagery in this book was amazing. I was there, in Franklin Springs, feeling the heat of the fires, hearing the gunshots, even seeing the graffitied signs. Easton has a way of capturing the reader and not letting them go.
Far as I’m concerned, this author is officially a one click(as if she wasn’t already) and I can’t wait to see what is in store next for Rain & Wes.
