I enjoyed the story and the characters. But, it should have all been in one book. I resent that I had to pay 4$ to get to the end. For a 200 page story, the price should have reflected that. Oh, and there were editing problems in this book that wasn't in the 1st book. Shouldn't have been more than 2$ for this 2nd book. Now I am afraid to spend the 4$ on the 3rd book in this series. What if it's just another 200 page book & therefore not as thorough as it should be. If the 1st book in the series had been complete I would not hesitate to purchase the rest of this series. I want to read each one. I have more of her books to read on my TBR list & some of her books I have read that I haven't yet added to my Goodreads shelves.
That said, I will add the rest of this series to my TBR & wish list. But, I am not in a rush to put out cold hard cash on them at this time. I love Melody Anne's writing, but I have a lot of authors on my 'Love It' list that make each book in their series a complete story & enough confidence in their writing to not play the 'Split it, Over pay for it' game.
Just to name a few, Kresley Cole, Nikki Sex, Chloe Cox, Geneva Lee. I could go on, but I will stop there.
I think Melody Anne needs to have more confidence in her own work.
