literatehedgehog 's review for:
The Shepherd's Crown
by Terry Pratchett
Love Sir Pratchett, but the audio version and I were not meant to be. Will try again with print!
EDIT*Apparently I tried this years ago and gave up. I tried again. It's nice being back on the Chalk with Tiffany Aching, but to me it wasn't a story that needed to be told. Her story concluded so well with I Shall Wear Midnight, that this interrupts the sense of closure I had. It's good, it's funny, it has the quintessential Pratchettitude that I love so dearly. But sadly, it was unfinished and lacks the final polish that may have changed my mind about its necessity.
