I absolutely love this book! I first listened to it on Libro FM a year ago, and it's one that I often re-read. I never imagined that a blob that eats humans could become one of the best characters I've ever encountered, but she truly is!

Shesheshen is witty and possesses a dry sense of humor without even realizing it. She undergoes significant character development and genuinely cares for the people who matter to her—she is a wonderful blob!

Homily is also an amazing character! She is recovering from a difficult background of family abuse, but she is determined to become stronger and better. Homily needed someone who would care about her, reassure her that she is not a bad person, and choose her over the rest of the world.

Homily and Shesheshen are perfect for each other; they continuously fight for one another, listen, and respect each other's boundaries. Their relationship is so healthy—I can't express how much I love it!

From the characters to the plot to the narration, everything was beautifully done. I loved how the characters grew together, learned from each other, loved, and supported one another.

If you're looking for an adorable romance about people falling in love for the first time, set in a wonderful fantasy world, this book is perfect for you!
