Back To Yesterday by Whitney Barbetti

4.0

After reading Into the Tomorrows, and it's epic cliffhanger, I was so excited to read the conclusion. I was not disappointed! Although the tone of this book was very different, and it dealt more with Trista and her personal journey to healing, the satisfying ending I was hoping for was still there. I would not classify this is as a romance novel because the focus of the book was more on Trista's struggle to move past her difficult relationship with her mother and try to heal after the events of ITT. The road for her is quite rough, and I felt sadness for Trista deep down in my heart. The book was dark, and emotional, and deeply sad at times. But Barbetti dealt with a difficult subject well.
