The beginning of the book is such a bore, it feels like nothing is going on and
when you find out everything was based on a lie it feels like you also wasted your time reading the beginning.

I love Feyre, she's brave and doesn't shy away when things get tough. Tamlin is another story. I can't believe he
ignored her so much during the trials. I get that he probably did it to not bring any attention to her and therefore have her suffer more but he didn't even try to save her at the end when Amarantha was killing her.

As a matter of fact, Rhysand did try to stop Amarantha.
Rhysand surprised me, I think he got the most character development and I hope we get to see more of him in the next book.
He saved her so many times during the trials, the reading one being the most memorable to me. I didn't expect him to help, on the contrary, I thought he would make Feyre's life harder.
He probably saved this book for me too and bumped it up to another star rating because the story got more interesting with his continuous involvement.
