HELLO I AM GOING TO SPEEDRUN THIS REVIEW BECAUSE THE BOOK ENDED ON SUCH A COMPELLING NOTE I NEED TO READ WORLD AFTER RIGHT NOW.
firstly, this is one of the best fantasy/dystopian/romance/action books i've ever read. i am crying this book is literally so good holy flip flops.
firstly: penryn? literally perfect. there is so much i want to say about her character but i love her. raffe? still not over him. holy shit, you guys, this book is literally so insane. my hands are shaking.
it's a fast paced book set in a world where angels have overtaken man, and the world is in ruin. penryn and raffe, a daughter of man and a fallen angel have their paths align, and their story is not a boring one. i was turning the pages at the speed of light. oh god, my brain is so distracted i need to start world after right now all the LITTLE HINTS AND CUES AND THAT ENDING I AM LITERALLY ABOUT TO PASS AWAY THIS BOOK HELLO WHO IS SUSAN Ee and HOW COME I'VE NEVER HEARD OF HER.
