After reading Sunrise on the Reaping, I decided to go back and re-read (or in this case, listen to) the original trilogy. I forgot just how brutal these books are, and perhaps even more emotionally taxing than Sunrise. Suzanne Collins has made a truly unique, amazing, brutal universe with this series.
