I devoured this book!

It’s hard to put my thoughts about this one into words. I’m speechless and want to yell at everyone to GRAB it and read it immediately.  It’s a brilliant and beautiful story about the lengths people will go to for the ones they love.  My emotions are all over the place. What a roller coaster!!!!

Declan has been traded to the Seattle Crusaders from his hometown NFL team in Tennessee and immediately falls for single mom, Vi.  Vi is fiercely devoted to her young son, Tucker, and will do anything to protect him.  She’s been hurt in the past and her walls are up.  Once she meets the persistent and caring Declan, she can't help but let him in, even if they are both holding back some things.

Declan is a yummy cinnamon roll with those “touch her and die” vibes that I can’t avoid falling for. This football player did more than make me swoon, he made my heart melt.

Declan and Vi’s story is beautifully heartbreaking.  I have to stop here so I don’t give anything away.

This one is full of sweet and touching moments, but some topics may be triggering.  Pay attention to trigger warnings.

• Football player
• He falls first
• Insta-love (please don’t let this scare you off)
• Touch her and die
